Teachers acts as facilitator and they guide these learners to foster thinking skills necessary for independence and survival as vital part of the community, which is an extension of the classroom.

Learning is spiral, with depth and breadth goals based on developmentally appropriate program. More so, knowledge is derived from play, direct experience, and social interaction. An instruction is often related to central questions and facilitates inquiry, which is often generated by the children’s age appropriate interests in which skills are related to content and are viewed as tools.

Thus, each learner’s success is determined through application over time to achieve generalization of learning. Intelligence is recognized as varied which includes arts, kinesthetic, music, sensory experiences thus measured in real-life problem solving activities. This is made successful with the collaboration of parents as the primary teachers, goal setters and planners together with the teachers & other professionals working together in achieving an end goal that school is challenging yet a FUN part of life.
